The Trouble with Chance

Category: About Me

Part I:

Hello, and welcome to my first blog. I’ve set up five categories of interest . . . to me and hopefully you. I’ll not write about politics, religion or offer criticism to anyone or thing—to each his own. I’m not a professional on any subject, but I can offer relevant, helpful, or insightful information.

This blog will be posted once or twice a month—more or less. I’ll post news of my recently completed book, The Trouble with Chance, and my work in process, Mrs. Gray’s Secret, along with writing tips and progress (Category: Writing), my adventures with my disrupters Jax and Macky, our two Maine Coon cats (and how they trained me) (Category: Maine Coon cats), pictures of my garden’s concrete statuary (concrete statues) (Category: Garden Whimsy), exercise tips for a woman over 60 (Category: Exercise and Health), updates and bio of “ME” (Category: About Me)—and everything in-between! Stay tuned for Part II of all About Me on a personal note.

For you writers, I leave you with two of my favorite quotes. From John Irving, in a 2015 CBS interview: . . . obsessions, which are things that choose you, you don’t choose them . . . ” and a French proverb, attributed to Voltaire (writer & activist): Perfect is the enemy of good (or better is the enemy of good enough).
